Here are some of my favorite projects that I created in Multimedia Tools in Education. I hope you enjoy and find some that you might use in the future!

EdPuzzle Intro to the Recorder
I really enjoyed using EdPuzzle to begin editing some videos on the recorder. I will be starting my recorder unit with my 3rd graders soon, and I have been looking for ways to make learning the recorder more engaging for them. While I had created some introductory videos on my own this summer through YouTube as part of a flipped learning course (these were pretty embarrassing), EdPuzzle introduced me to a whole new way of engaging students and assessing their learning! By using EXISTING YouTube videos I could still accomplish what I needed to and save time! I was VERY excited to use EdPuzzle to start the first in a series of recorder videos for students. With the possibility of e-learning days in our district, these will work perfectly for students when they are unable to be in school! Now I have two ways of adding video into my recorder unit! I am SO excited to start our recorder unit and see what the student feedback is towards the videos!

Monthly Music Newsletter
Another project that I am proud to have completed in this class is my music newsletter, which I created in our assignment, Share Your Story. I downloaded the TpT editable newsletter templates from our Module 6 resources for this assignment in an effort to try to improve my communication. For awhile now I have been searching for ways to communicate information to parents clearly in more than just my music website. I often feel like many parents miss the information in my website, or have no clue where to go for it, so I thought this might be a good idea to try. I am really proud of how the newsletter came out, and how I could feature pictures of students so that parents can be better connected to our classes. I loved how easy it was to use and now I have a template I can use all year. We will see how it goes....

Duke Ellington Book Trailer
I really liked using Adobe Spark to create my book trailer for the Duke Ellington book, The Piano Prince and His Orchestra. I had taken an introductory class on using Adobe Spark, but had not used the video recording feature yet. This assignment gave me the opportunity to explore this feature of the program. I have used WeVideo and iMovie before, so I had not really had any experience with Adobe. While I liked the final product, it was not as user-friendly as I had hoped (hoping that Adobe might make some updates soon?). I have already used it again to create a Veterans Day video for our school, and still ran into some of the same problems, but right now it is easily accessible on my computer and fairly easy to use, so will probably use it to create some additional music book trailers in the future (at least until something better comes along for Chromebooks).
